Experience Lesjaskogsvatnet lake and Lesja

Fishing in Lesja

Lesjaskogsvatnet lake flows into the Rauma and Gudbrandsdalslågen rivers. The lake offers good fishing and has both trout and grayling. We sell fishing licenses.

Lesja also offers excellent fishing opportunities in rivers and mountain lakes.

We rent out of canoes, rowboats and pedalos! These can be rented at reception.

Bike trips and hiking trips

The area also offers great bike trips along the shared-use path or the wide trail/gravel road running alongside Lesjaskogsvatnet lake. There is a continuous cycle route between Bjorli and Dombås, and we also offer bike rental.

There are endless trip opportunities in Lesja, from hiking and bike trails in the valley, to high mountain terrain above the tree line. We have Reinheimen National Park to the west, and Dovrefjell-Sunndalsfjella National Park to the north.

Valldalsleden

The Pilgrim Path starts from the fjords and leads into the mountains, following the footsteps of Olav Haraldsson. It starts in Valldal, and meets Gudbrandsdalsleden in Dovre.

We are located along the path, which can be experienced in short sections or as a hike over several days.
